Inspired by 'bad' women from Manx history such as Ann Thompson, transported to Botany Bay for stealing lace edging, Catherine Kinrade, keel-hauled for immoral behaviour.
Our event will be staged around the time of the Manx Hollantide fair, where 'historically, women and girls would perform the dance Shooyl inneenyn to attract the attention of local farmers when hoping to secure employment or domestic work for the coming year.'
14th November Peel Centenary Centre Doors open 7:30, show starts 8:00 pm ending approx 10:00 pm
